I just like Muffins okay? Digital Media iz k3w1 t0o

DUDE BOB KING IS LITERALLY THE KING. What an awesome little self broadcast man, I really dug some of the stuff you were saying. Plus I just dig your style of speech and old-timey remixed with new-age lingo, it's a perfect balance. Now that that's out of the way. I have to say some of what you were saying was a little frightening. At times I felt as though you were pushing digitial media as an essential part to living in the modern world, rather than a tool that can be put in mankinds belt of tricks. True, we were bound to begin living as a race dependent on the desire for us all to connect. It was destined since the lightbulb, and as you say it is an electric current that will never stop pulsing now that it has been cultivated. Maybe I'm wary of the destruction it can bring to mankind. A good follow up is seen within Lev Manovich's translation of all existing media. There is a great deal to be said of the abstract world that digital media has begun breeding all of mankind. This dispels my freight and almost puts in a hint of creative spark. It's almost as though the shapes spaces and texts that are numerically placed together for our pleasure, or very well our pain. I love everything of what Lev continues to spell out though confusing and abstract as it becomes.
Charlie Chaplin is my man because I am incredibly pigeon toed. Theres something so true to be said of the insignifigant man trying to keep up with the bigger guy managing to overpower the small guy. It's really honest, the huge business man in his large room with dials and three course meal, sitting on his ass asking the little men to do a little bit more work than necessary. Sounds like Mark Zuckerberg?!!!!! It really angers me in the way that society in general has begun to be a huge desensitization of true substance in life. Yet, there is magic to be said for society coming together and pooling the ideas that are everywhere, it's such a real commitment to creation. Just as the Remix manifesto does, it's a huge clusterfuck of incredible mashups. Music creations and remix's are the most fascinating creation within the music world. Now I'm not a huge fan of the Atomic TOM and Do You Know, it all seems like a mechanized modernized mainstream muppets scared about the creation of differentiation and change. It's a living and breathing support system that....well supports itself, digital media that is. Pretty sure its not good or bad, it just cant be stopped so let's leave it and embrace when it needs embracing.
